The Corporate world is very different now. Our activities are becoming Global, technology is almost magical and ambition for better life is now universal. This new world provides us opportunities to compete and win in it. The highly competitive global corporate world requires a new breed of managers who must be able to deal creatively in diverse work environment characterized by rapid change.
The creation of a learning institute to cater for the demand of student community must, in my view, respect our traditional value system and cultural heritage. We will equip and integrate our students of Indraprasth Institute of Management, Gurgaon (IIMG) to this cultural heritage, so that they stay at the campus and excel in their life.

Orientation Programme
An orientation programme for freshers will be conducted during the month of July every year. The objective of the programme is
- To introduce the new members of the IIMG family to the culture and working ethos of this Institute.
- To help the students identify their profile, and areas for self-development.
- To help the freshers for their successful stay at IIMG
Eligibility Criteria And Admission Procedure
Eligibility
For PGDM programmes, students who have completed three years of Bachelors Degree or equivalent in any discipline, recognized by an Indian University or Deemed University, are eligible to apply. Those compeleting their final examination by August,2020 may also apply.
Selection Criteria
Indraprasth Institute of Management uses these scores only for short listing candidates. Final selection is based on the candidate’s academic records, performance in our selection process including Group Discussions & Personal Interview, CAT/MAT/CMAT/XAT/ATMA/GMAT score, as well as experience of previous employment. The selected candidates are required to fill the Application Form available with the Institute’s Admission Department by payment of Rs1000/- cash or demand draft in favor of Indraprasth Institute of Management, payable at Gurugram or by downloading the form from Institute’s website www.iimgurgaon.com and sending the form to the Institute with demand draft of Rs. 1000/–Only.
Programme Offered
Our two-year full-time postgraducate Diploma in Management (PGDM) Programme is approved by AICTE, Ministry of HRD, Government
of India and it prepares the student for a career in industry and services. The courses are designed to develop and enhance
- The analytical, problem solving and decision making abilities,
- The awareness of socio-economic environment, and
- The personality with socially desirable values and attitudes
The PGDM Programme equips the students with an integrated approach to management function and managerial skills. The programme also provides an opportunity to concentrate in one or two of the functional areas (viz. Economics, Finance, Information Systems, Marketing, Production, Operations & Decision Sciences and Aviation Management).
Academic Evaluation System
The Institute’s evaluation system is designed to continuously assess the students’ performance in relation to the required
standards of academic achievement. Apart from examinations, a student’s performance is assessed on the basis of class
participation, preparation of periodic library assignments, internals and surprise quizzes. The Institute expects a minimum
standard for promotion to the second year and for the award of the Diploma. Failure to meet the minimum standards of
performance at any time would require a student to discontinue from the programme.

Industry Visits
Regular industry visits are conducted to create a specific understanding of functioning of business units among the students. A number of visits are planned over the year for students across the industries.
Placements
IIMG has a full time placement department to coordinate placement activities. The placement team interacts closely with top
industry people on a regular basis and maintains excellent mutually beneficial relationships with HR Managers.
The department also arranges industry interface, workshops and industry visits on an ongoing basis.
Apart from this, the placement department plays an important role in grooming students for employment.
